The aim of the study is to examine the linguistics elements and the ideology focusing on discourse and context in a speech. The underlying theory of this study is called Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). CDA is a theory and method analysis that focuses on relations between discourse, power, dominance, and social inequality and how discourse keeps these relations of dominance and inequality. Those are including President Donald Trump’s inauguration Speech delivered in the Capitol on January 20, 2017. The writer interested to analyze the text structure and ideology that appear in President Donald Trump’s inauguration speech. This study was conducted by applying a qualitative design. The writer applied a Critical Discourse Analysis approach by Teuk van Dijk and Fairclough about the structure of text and ideology. The primary data of this research are sentences in President Donald Trump’s inauguration Speech which occurred in the Capitol on January 20, 2017 which contain structures and ideology, The results of this study shows three structures of the text including 47 data in President Donald Trump’s inauguration speech; 5 data of macrostructure, 8 data of superstructure, and 34 data belong of microstructure. In addition, the writer analyzes the ideology sin President Donald Trump inauguration speech which seen from the structure of text. The writer found 47 data belong to the ideology in Donald Trump’s Inauguration speech, 4 data of the neoliberalism ideology and 43 data of the new capitalism ideology and new capitalism itself as the result of the ideology in Donald Trump’s Inauguration speech.
