The goal of the this research on PT. HM. Sampoerna Tbk. is to know the financial condition based on financial analysis ratio the financial analysis ratio is a mail tool to financial analysis because it has the goal to evaluate and analysis the operation of a company and also to the own management can`t to use like a part job on planning and rinsing of the financial company the research used a secunder data, and all of the data is collect from PT. Bursa efek Surabaya and being done by technical documentation the research used a ratio analysis with time series method to know the financial condition on a company, among other thing is : a. to calculated a ratio analysis based on a report financial of the company from 1996-2000 b.no conclude pf result calculation a ratio financial analysis and the financial ratio that using is : 1. liquidities ratio 2. leverage ratio 3. activities ratio 4. profitabilities ratio the conclusion that take from this research is : 1. from the liquidities ratio and profitabilities ratio that the financial condition from 1996-2000. is in good condition 2. from the leverage ratio and activities ratio that the financial condition from 1996-2000 is learning experience to rise all of the matter mentioned because of the company still pay attention just to obligation along periode and used all of their active with productive not yet.
