This study focuses on language variation in sociolinguistics field especially Argot. This study aims to explain the kinds of Argot used by Blater in Socah Village Bangkalan and the factors which contribute the existence of Argot in Socah Village Bangkalan. This study is conducted using qualitative design because the data are in the form of sentences. The data of this study are the utterances of some Blater’s when they speak to others. The data of this study are collected by using content analysis method. The writer found 31 (Thirty one) data. The data analysis reveals the findings covering the formulated research questions. Firstly, the type of Argot produced by Blater in Socah village Bangkalan. demonstrated by 5 type, 10 data are categorized as Secrecy. The second position is Expressiveness (1 data), the third is Identity (13 data), the four is communication (6 data), the five is Integration (1 data). In addition, also in Socah village Bangkalan, it is found that the factors which influence the use of Argot are five factors. The first is the need to be different and unique, the second is alleviation of feelings or rejection and refusal, the third is facilitation of social interactions and relationships (8 data), the four is declaration of belonging to a subculture or social status (13 data), the five is a tool of social identification leading to a sense of belonging to a group secrecy (10 data)
