Program Studi Psikologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. 2017 Halaman : xvii + 13 lampiran Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui body image pada remaja mantan obesitas. body image memiliki empat aspek yaitu physical attractiveness, body image satisfaction, body image importance, body concealment, body improvement, social physique anxiety, dan appearance comparison subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 orang remaja perempuan yang berusia 18-21 tahun (NS, CR, dan MT), remaja dalam penelitian ini adalah mantan obesitas, dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara semi terstruktur. Analisis data menggunakan teknik Miles dan Huberman. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga subjek gambaran tentang body imagenya pada aspek Physical attractiveness menilai perubahan pada tubuhnya sudah tergolong ideal. Pada aspek body improvement usaha yang dilakukan subjek untuk memperbaiki bentuk tubuhnya melakukan diet, olahraga, aerobic, dan zumba.pada aspek body image satisfaction perasaan puas dan tidak puas dialami oleh semua subjek pada beberapa bagian tubuhnya. Pada aspek body image importance, semua subjek memprioritaskan bentuk tubuhnya dibandingkan hal lainnya. Pada aspek body concealment, subjek menyiasati bentuk tubuhnya yang tidak menarik dengan memakai baju dengan warna gelap, menggunakan korset, dan ukuran bra yang lebih besar. Pada aspek social physique anxiety subjek mengalami ketakutan akan pandangan dan komentar negative tentang tubuhnya yang membuat minder ketika berada ditempat umum. Pada aspek appearance comparison subjek melakukan perbandingan dengan orang lain yang dianggap memiliki tubuh yang lebih ideal. The results showed that all three subjects a picture of body imagenya on aspects of Physical attractiveness assess the changes in his body was classified as ideal. In the aspect of improvement of body work done to improve her form the subject of diet, exercise, aerobic, and zumba.pada aspects of body image satisfaction satisfied and dissatisfied feeling experienced by all subjects on several parts of his body. In the aspect of body image and importance, all subjects prioritized in shape compared to other things. In the aspect of body concealment, the subject around the body shape is not attractive by wearing a shirt with dark colors, using a corset, and bra size larger. In the aspect of social anxiety Physique subjects experienced fear of negative views and comments about her that made feel inferior when it is out in public.
