[ Anotasi Abstrak ]
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) dans iswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah pada siswa SD kelas IV di SDN Mandala 1 Sumenep .Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan Quasi experimental design dengan teknik Nonequivalent Control group Design, instrument penelitiann ini teshasil belajar, observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta angket respon siswa. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan nilait hitung >t yaitu3.407 > 2.120, maka H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan efektivitas model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe CIRC Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS sangat efektif dengan observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan sangat baik, serta respon siswa yang baik dengan menggunakan model CIRC. tabel Kata kunci : Model Kooperatif Tipe Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition(CIRC), Pembelajaran IPS, Hasi lBelajar

This study has an objective to determine the differences of Social Science learning outcomes between students who attend cooperative learning in the type of cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) and students who attend lecture method on fourth grade elementary school students in SDN Mandala 1 Sumenep. This study uses quantitative approach with Quasi experimental design and the technique of Nonequivalent Control group Design, instruments of this study are achievement test, observation of teacher and students’ activit ies, and students’ responses quest ionnaire. The sample of this study uses saturated sampling technique. The data analysis results show the value of t count >t is 3.407 > 2.120, then H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that there are differences of the effectiveness of Cooperative learning model in the Type of CIRC on Social Science Learning Outcomes. The implementation of Social Sciences learning is very effect ive wit h the observat ion of teacher and students’ activit ies in the learning that is very good, and the students’ responses that are good with the use of CIRC model. table Keywords: Cooperative Model in the Type of Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC), Social Science Learning, Learning Outcomes
