PENGARUH DOSIS PUPUK KANDANG AYAM DAN APLIKASI KNO3 TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN TIMUN SURI (Cucumis Melo L.) ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kandang ayam dan aplikasi KNO3 terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman timun suri (Cucumis Melo L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Karang Gayam, Kecamatan Blega, Kabupaten Bangkalan, Madura pada bulan Oktober 2016 hingga Januari 2017. Penelitian ini mengunakan Metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial, dengan faktor pertama dosis pupuk kandang ayam yang meliputi: tanpa perlakuan (P0), 15 ton/ha (P1), 20 ton/ha (P2), 25 ton/ha (P3), 30 ton/ha (P4)dan faktor kedua aplikasi KNO3 yaitu tanpa perlakuan (K0), 1,5gr (K1) setiap kobinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil pengamatan dianalisis mengunakan Analisis of Variance (ANOVA) apabila ada penagruh perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Jarak Duncan (BNJD) 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang ayam berpengaruh terhadap sebagian variabel pengamatan, antara lain tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun. Perlakuan aplikasi KNO3 tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan. Terdapat interaksi antara pemberian dosis pupuk kandang ayam dan aplikasi KNO3 berpengaruh nyata terhadap beberapa variabel pengamatan, antara lain bobot kering akar dan bobot kering daun. ABSTRAK This study aims to determine the effect of dosage of chicken manure and KNO3 application to the growth of cucumber cucumber (Cucumis Melo L.). This research was conducted in Karang Gayam Village, Blega District, Bangkalan Regency, Madura from October 2016 to January 2017. This research used Factorial Randomized Block Design Method (RAK) with the first factor of chicken manure dosage which include: without treatment (P0) , 15 ton / ha (P1), 20 ton / ha (P2), 25 ton / ha (P3), 30 ton / ha (P4) and second factor KNO3 application ie without treatment (K0), 1.5gr (K1) Each cobination treatment was repeated 3 times. The result of the observation was analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) if there was a treatment interval followed by the 5% Duncan Differentiation (BNJD) test. The results showed, the treatment of chicken manure dosage effect on some observation variables, including plant height and number of leaves. The treatment of KNO3 application has no significant effect on all observation variables. There is an interaction between dosage of chicken manure and KNO3 application have real effect to some observation variables, including dry root weight and leaf dry weight.
