Aset adalah suatu barang atau jasa yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan maupun Pemerintah Daerah yang memiliki nilai guna di mana manfaat ekonomisnya dapat dirasakan di masa sekarang maupun masa yang akan datang. Pengelolaan aset tetap daerah erat kaitannya dengan kesempurnaan neraca yang disajikan sehingga laporan keuangan yang disajikan akan berkualitas baik pula. Tujuan dari penyusunan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan aset tetap daerah terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Gresik. Dalam tugas akhir ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Proses dari teknik pengumpulan data dari tugas akhir ini dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Simpulan dari tugas akhir ini yaitu pengelolaan aset tetap daerah Kabupaten Gresik sudah dijalankan sesuai dengan peraturan yang sudah ada di mana dibuktikan dengan hasil opini LKPD Kabupaten Gresik pada tahun 2015 dan tahun 2016 beropini wajar tanpa pengecualian (WTP) hanya saja pada aspek pengamanan dan pemeliharaan masih ada aset tanah yang bersertifikat namun belum atas nama Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Gresik karena kendala masalah biaya dan anggaran serta rumitnya proses balik nama sertifikat di Badan Pertahanan Nasional (BPN). Assets are goods or services owned by companies and local governments that have value for use in which the economic benefits can be felt in the present and future. The management of fixed assets is closely related to the perfection of the balance sheet presented so that the financial statements presented will be of good quality as well. The purpose of this final project is to describe the management of local fixed assets to the quality of financial statements of the Regional Government of Gresik Regency. In this thesis the authors used a qualitative descriptive approach with primary and secondary data sources. The process of data collection techniques from this final project with observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of this final project is the management of fixed assets of Gresik Regency has been implemented in accordance with the existing regulations which is proven by the opinion of the financial statements of the local government of Gresik regency in 2015 and 2016 think unqualified only on the security and maintenance aspects still there is a certified land asset but not yet on behalf of the local government of Gresik regency due to cost and budget problems constraints and complicated the process behind the name of the certificate in the national question body.
