Penelitian yang berjudul komunikasi kesehatan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang berangkat dari ketertarikan penulis terhadap sosialisasi program KB pada kampung KB yang ada di Kabupaten Bangkalan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi kesehatan yang dilakukan petugas KB dalam memberikan sosialisasi pada masyarakat kampung KB yang notabennya pengguna KB nya masih rendah dibawah rata-rata tingkat desa/kelurahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa komunikasi kesehatan yang digunakan petugas KB dalam memberikan sosialisasi program KB guna mempengaruhi masyarakat kampung KB sudah tepat sesuai dengan 5 unsur komunikasi kesehatan. Namun ada beberapa hambatan yang terjadi dalam proses penyebaran informasi KB diantaranya terjadi pada sumber dan penerima. Pada sumber hambatan yang terjadi yaitu keefektifitasan waktu sedangkan pada penerima yaitu partisipasi masyarakat melalui tindakan masih kurang terutama pada pemakaian KB metode jangka panjang. Untuk itu peneliti menyarankan selain dilakukan pengrekrutan petugas KB, pelatihan petugas KB dalam menyampaikan pesan juga perlu di gencarkan serta membuat inovasi baru melalui media serta metode penyampaian pesan-pesan program KB. Selain itu, hasil dari penelitian ini berkaitan dengan budaya Madura, program KB sudah mulai banyak memperoleh dukungan dari pemuka agama. Sehingga budaya banyak anak banyak rezeki sudah mulai tidak berlaku lagi. Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Kesehatan, Program Keluarga Berencana, Kampung Keluarga Berencana.

The research entitled health communication is a descriptive qualitative research that departed from the interest of the writer to the socialization of family planning programs in the family planning programs village Bangkalan regency. The purpose of this research to find out how health communication is done by family planning officer in giving socialization to societies of family planning programs village that incidentally KB user is still low and are below the average of village level. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The results of research showed that health communication used by family planning officer in giving socialization of family planning program to influence the societies of KB village was appropriate in accordance with 5 elements of health communication. However there are some obstacles that happened in the process of disseminating family planning information such as happened to source and recipient. At the source of the obstacles that occur is the effectiveness of time while at the receiver is community participation through action is still less especially on the use of family planning method long term. For that researchers suggest that in addition to the recruitment of family planning officers, the training of family planning officers in conveying the message also needs to be diligent and create new innovations through media and methods of delivering messages KB program. In addition, the results of this study related to Madurese culture, family planning programs have started to gain support from religious leaders.
