CV. Anita Family bergerak dalam bidang industri makanan terutama macam – macam roti, kue kering, cake maupun kue basah. CV. Anita Family memiliki masalah pada kualitas rotinya, berikut 5 jenis cacat yaitu roti bentuk jelek, roti agak gosong, roti jadi gepeng, roti kadaluarsa dan ukuran tidak sama. Jenis roti yang akan diteliti adalah roti coklat, pizza mini dan croisan. Untuk mengurangi jumlah cacat yang terjadi maka diambil metode yang cocok untuk masalah ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode new seven tools. Karena metode new seven tools merupakan alat bantu yang digunakan untuk memetakan permasalahan, mengorganisasian data agar lebih mudah dipahami, serta menelusuri berbagai kemungkinan penyebab permasalahan. Pada diagram afinitas dilakukan pengumpulan ide dari semua pihak yang ada untuk meminimalisir cacat yang ada. Ide tersebut dikelompokkan pada beberapa bagian dari segi metode, manusia, lingkungan dan mesin serta pengukuran. Pada diagram pareto diketahui bahwa pada cacat roti coklat menjelaskan ada 3 cacat yang harus ditangani secara cepat karena tingkat prosentasenya sebesar > 20%. Cacat tersebut antara lain cacat roti penyok atau bentuk jelek memiliki prosentase sebesar 46,3%, cacat roti agak gosong sebesar 22,2% dan cacat roti gepeng sebesar 20,4%. Pada diagram pohon dapat dijelaskan dengan mengambil contoh penyebab cacat agak gosong yaitu dari segi metode dan akar penyebabnya adalah peletakan adonan terlalu tinggi, proses pengovenan mengenai suhu jarang dikontrol, proses nyala api oven terlalu tinggi.

Anita Family has problems with the quality of bread, the following 5 types of defects are ugly bread, bread a little charred, bread so flattened, breads expired and the size is not the same. Type of bread to be studied is brown bread, mini pizza and croisan. To reduce the number of defects that occur then taken a suitable method for this problem is by using the method new seven tools. Because the new seven tools method is a tool used to map problems, organize data to be more easily understood, and explore the various possible causes of the problem. On the affinity diagram is done gathering ideas from all parties that exist to minimize the defects that exist. The ideas are grouped into different parts of the method, human, environment and machine and measurement. In the pareto diagram it is known that on brown toast defects there are 3 defects that must be handled quickly because the percentage level of> 20%. These defects include disintegrating bacon defects or ugly forms having a percentage of 46.3%, slightly burned bread defects of 22.2% and 20.4% flaky bread defects. In the tree diagram can be explained by taking the example of the cause of the slightly burned defect that is in terms of method and the root cause is laying the dough is too high, the process of pengovenan about the temperature is rarely controlled, oven flame process is too high.
