ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana jalanya proses komunikasi PT Coloumbus dalam negosiasi yang terjadi dengan perusahaan asal China dan Turki. Proses komunikasi terdiri dari 6 variabel yaitu variabel sumber, pesan, penerima, saluran, konteks, serta feed back. Sedangkan sebuah negosiasi terdiri dari tiga tahapan. Tahapan tersebut adalah tahap perencanaan, implementasi, dan juga tahap peninjauan. Penelitian ini juga akan membahas komunikasi lintas budaya karena dalam negosiasi ini melibatkan tiga negara yang berbeda.Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara serta dokumentasi. Informan yang dipilih adalah seseorang yang berperan sebagai negosiator dalam negosiasi yang terjadi dalam perusahaan yang diteliti oleh penulis. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari temuan tentang proses komunikasi bisnis, tahap – tahap negosiasi dan hambatan negosiasi yang terdapat dalam proses negosiasi tersebut didapatkan beberapa aspek eksternal yang mempengaruhi hasil dari negosiasi. Penelitian menunjukkan proses komunikasi negosiasi yang berbeda satu sama lain. Kebudayaan atau stereotip masyarakat ditemukan dapat memberi dampak langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap proses negosiasi yang terjadi. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out how the communication process of PT Coloumbus in the negotiations that occurred with companies from China and Turkey. Communication process consists of 6 variables that are source variables, messages, recipients, channels, context, and feed back. While a negotiation consists of three stages. These stages are the planning, implementation, and review phases. This research will also discuss cross-cultural communication because in this negotiation involving three different countries. Methods of data collection used are observation and interview and documentation. The selected informant is someone who acts as a negotiator in the negotiations that occur within the company examined by the author. Technique examination of data validity using triangulation of source and method. The results of the study show that the business communication process, the negotiation stages and negotiation barriers found in the negotiation process, have some external aspects that influence the outcome of the negotiation. Research shows a different process of negotiation communication with each other. Culture or community stereotypes are found to have a direct or indirect impact on the negotiation process.
