Para pemain sepak bola harus menjunjung tinggi nilai sportifitas dan fair play dalam permainan sepak bola demi tercapainya sebuah prestasi yang membanggakan. Dengan adanya sebuah pertandingan sepak bola yang mengakibatkan kematian kepada pemain lain karena kealpaannya maka seyogyanya para pemain yang tidak bermain dengan nilai sportifitas dan fair play sehingga mengakibatkan kematian kepada pemain lain sehingga harus dipertanggungjawabkan secara pidana, dibutuhkan sanksi yang tegas tidak cukup dengan sanksi yang diatur pada kode disiplin PSSI tahun 2008 yang akan diberikan kepada pemain sepak bola supaya para pemain tidak melakukan hal-hal terlarang tersebut. Sanksi pidana harus diberikan kepada pelaku perbuatan yang mengakibatkan kematian karena kelalaiannya ( Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian normatif adapun metode pendekatan yang digunakan penulis dalam skripsi ini adalah metode pendekatan Undang-undang Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelaku perbuatan kelalaian sehingga mengakibatkan matinya pemain lain dalam sepak bola dapat dijerat dengan sanksi administrasi pada Pasal 10 kode disiplin PSSI dan sanksi pidana pada Pasal 359 Kitab Undang-undang Hukum Pidana Kata kunci : Sepak bola, Kelalaian (

ABSTRACT The soccer players must play supportively and be fair play during the match in order to comprehend a great achievement. With the existence of a soccer match which caused death to the other player due to its absence, thus those who do not play supportively and be fair play should be criminally charged, it is needed an assertive sanction, not only sanctions which are ruled in PSSI disciplinary code year 2008, then it will be punished to those who do not obey the rule with the purpose of making them more chary. The methodology used is normative research with using statue approach and conceptual approach, while the objects laws are primary law and tarsier law, the method to analyze the objects law in this thesis is prescriptive object law analyzing method. The result of this research is showing that the player who does omission until causing the death of other player in soccer can be charged with administration sanction with article 10 of PSSI disciplinary code and criminal sanction in with article 359 of Criminal Code Keywords: Soccer, Culpa, Criminal Charge.
