Pd. ABSTRAK Abstrak: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang Analisis Bentuk-bentuk Harga Diri Tokoh Nayla dalam Kumpulan Cerpen T(W)ITIT! Karya Djenar Maesa Ayu (Perspektif Psikologi Sastra). Adapun masalah yang diteliti adalah Bagaimanakah deskripsi bentuk-bentuk harga diri tokoh Nayla dalam kumpulan cerpen T(W)ITIT! karya Djenar Maesa Ayu? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Bentuk-bentuk Harga Diri Tokoh Nayla dalam kumpulan cerpen T(W)ITIT! Karya Djenar Maesa Ayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Psikologi Sastra Abraham Maslow. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan objektif, yang mana pendekatan tersebut akan lebih memilih dan memberikan perhatian penuh terhadap karya sastra sebagai sebuah struktur. Objek penilian ini adalah Kumpulan cerpen berjudul T(W)ITIT! karya Djenar Maesa Ayu yang didalamnya terdapat sebelas cerpen. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan teknik pustaka, baca, dan catat. Kemudian penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teori untuk menguji keabsahan data. Sedangkan prosedur penelitian dalam penelitian ini meliputi: Tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap penyusunan laporan. Hasil penelitian terhadap kumpulan cerpen T(W)ITIT! Karya Djenar Maesa Ayu ini terdapat dua bentuk kebutuhan akan harga diri yaitu harga diri dari orang lain dan harga diri dari diri sendiri. Bentuk harga diri dari orang lain meliputi: Reputasi, Kekaguman, Status, Prestise atau Keberhasilan. sementara bentuk harga diri dari diri sendiri meliputi: Kepercayaan diri, Prestasi, dan Ketidaktergantungan, serta Kebebasan. The problems that studied are (1) What are the forms of Nayla’s self esteem in the short story collection entitled T(W)ITTIT! by Djenar Maesa Ayu? (2) What is the description of the forms of Nayla’s self esteem in the short story collection entitled T(W)ITTIT! by Djenar Maesa Ayu? This study uses the theory of Literary Psychology by Abraham Maslow. This study uses a qualitative method with an objective approach, in which the approach will prefer and give full attention to literary works as a structure. The object of this study is the short story collection entitled T(W)ITTIT! by Djenar Maesa Ayu that consists of eleven short stories. Techniques of collecting data conducted are library technique, read and record. Moreover, this study uses triangulation theory to test the validity of the data. Meanwhile, the research procedures in this study include: Preparation, implementation and report preparation stages. The results of the study on the short story collection entitled T(W)ITTIT! by Djenar Maesa Ayu show that there are two forms of self esteem needs, namely self esteem from others and self esteem from herself. Forms of self esteem from others include: Reputation, Admiration, Status, Prestige or Success. Whereas, the forms of self esteem from herself are: Self-confidence, Mastery, Achievement, Dependency and Freedom. Keywords: Self-esteem, Character, Short Story, Literary Psychology.
