[ Anotasi Abstrak ]
ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empiris pengaruh nilai saham, profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, financial leverage, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap income smoothing. Deteksi income smoothing pada penelitian ini menggunakan Indeks Eckel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2015-2017, sedangkan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi logistik menggunakan program SPSS Statistics 24. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan, bahwa (1) nilai saham tidak berpengaruh terhadap income smoothing, (2) profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap income smoothing, (3) ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap income smoothing, (4) financial leverage berpengaruh terhadap income smoothing, dan (5) pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap income smoothing Kata Kunci : nilai saham, profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, financial leverage, pertumbuhan perusahaan, income smoothing

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidance of the effect of stock value, profitability, company size, financial leverage, and company growth on income smoothing. Income smoothing detection in this study uses the Eckel Index. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on BEI in the period 2015-201, while sampling uses the purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used in this study is logistic regression analysis using the SPSS Statistics 24 program. The test results show that, that (1) the value of shares does not affect income smoothing, (2) profitability has no effect on income smoothing, (3) size of firm has no effect towards income smoothing, (4) financial leverage affects income smoothing, and (5) the growth of the company has no effect on income smoothing.
