Skripsi yang berjudul Tinjauan Maslahah Terhadap Mandatory Sertifikasi Halal dalam Undang-Undang No. 33 Tahun 2014 Tentang Jaminan Produk Halal di Indonesia bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk kemaslahatan yang ada pada kebijakan mandatory sertifikasi halal dalam Undang-Undang No. 33 Thn. 2014 Tentang Jaminan Produk Halal. Serta urgensi keberadaan Mandatory Sertifikasi Halal di tengah-tengah masyarakat Indonesia dan kondisi perkembangannya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan (library research), dengan pendekatan yuridis normatif yang mana dalam penelitian ini berpijak pada Undang-Undang No. 33 Thn. 2104 Tentang Jaminan Produk Halal dan hukum Islam, baik itu dari al-Qur’an, Hadits, serta Fiqh Muamalah dengan maslahat yang menjadi inti dari adanya syariat islam menjadi tinjauan pokok dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya kebijakan Mandatory Sertifikasi Halal sangat dibutuhkan baik oleh konsumen maupun produsen, walaupun dalam perjalananya menuai berbagai persoalan yang menghambat terealisasikan kebijakan tersebut. Kebijakan Mandatory Sertifikasi Halal juga menjadi maslahat sebab dengan adanya kebijakan tersebut mendatangkan manfaat serta mencegah kerusakan.
