Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dan menemukan jenis pemborosan apa saja yang terjadi pada lantai produksi CNB04183-31 serta mampu memberikan perbaikan dari pemborosan yang telah terjadi dapat serta memetakan aliran nilai masa depan (future state mapping). Salah satu alat yang dipakai untuk memetakan kondisi proses produksi saat ini secara tepat dalam konsep lean manufacturing dikenal dengan istilah value stream mapping/VSM (peta aliran nilai). Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah PAM (Process Acitivity Mapping) dengan menggunakan PAM aktivitas yang dilakukan pada setiap stasiun kerja dapat diketahui secara rinci dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwasanya aktivitas yang paling banyak adalah storage dengan persentase sebesar 83%. Dengan perbaikan yang akan dilakukan diharapkan dapat memberikan perbaikan pada stasiun kerja produk CNB04183-31
