ABSTRAK Kertas merupakan kebutuhan yang dibutuhkan manusia pada saat ini terutama pada perindustrian, perkantoran dan pendidikan. Salah satu produk olahan yang diproses pada pabrik adalah kertas dalam bentuk gulungan. Pada tugas akhir ini membahas alat penggulung kertas menggunakan metode cascade fuzzy-PID. Alat penggulung dapat menggulung kertas dengan kerapatan yang stabil yaitu dengan setpoint sebesar 15 ons, Alat penggulung yang telah dibuat memiliki sistem untuk mengetahui jumlah gulungan kertas dan jika gulungan mencapai 200 maka sistem berhenti dan kertas hasil gulungan akan dipotong, penerapan metode cascade fuzzy-PID dengan nilai Kp=1.8, Ki=0 dan Kd=0.5 rata-rata waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai steady state adalah 5,61 detik dan hasil gulungan memiliki diameter sebesar 62,0 mm lebih kecil 1,3 mm dari gulungan kertas tanpa metode. ABSTRACT Paper is a necessity needed by humans at this time, especially in industry, offices and education. One of the processing products processed at the factory is paper in the form of rolls. In this thesis discusses the paper rollers using the fuzzy-PID cascade method. The rollers can roll paper with a stable density that is with a setpoint of 15 ounces, the rollers that have been made have a system to find out the number of paper rolls and if the rolls reach 200 then the system stops and the resulting paper will be cut, applying the fuzzy-PID cascade method with the value of Kp = 1.8, Ki = 0 and Kd = 0.5 the average time needed to reach a steady state is 5.61 seconds and the resulting roll has a diameter of 62.0 mm smaller than 1.3 mm of paper roll without method.
