LXXVII 77 Halaman, 17 Lampiran Penyakit autoimun adalah Ketika system kekebalan tubuh seseorang mengalami gangguan sehingga menyerang jaringan tubuh itu sendiri. Salah satu penyakit autoimun yang tertinggi di Indonesia adalah autoimun jenis Rheumatoid Arthritis. Rheumatoid Arthritis merupakan suatu penyakit autoimun ditandai dengan adanya peradangan sehingga terjadi pembengkakan, nyeridan sering kali akhirnya menyebabkan kerusakan bagian dalam sendi. Sahabat Rheumatoid Arthritis adalah organisasi non profit yang bersifat social dan kemanusiaan dibidang kesehatan terutama pada penyakit autoimun jenis Rheumatoid Arthritis. Peneliti pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Teknik simple random sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini merupakan anggota pada komunitas Sahabat Rheumatoid Arthritis yang menderita sakit Rheumatoid Arthritis dengan jumlah 84 orang. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah self-compassion dan optimisme. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji kolerasi sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS 23 for windows. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) maka hipotesis diterima artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self compassion dengan optimisme. Berdasarkan nilai koefisien (r) 0,429 dapat diidentifikasikan bahwa memiliki kekuatan dengan kategori sedang, arah korelasi berbentuk positif sehingga apabila semakin tinggi self compassion pada penderita autoimun maka semakin tinggi pula optimismenya. Kata Kunci: Self-Compasion, Optimisme, Autoimmune Jenis Rheumatoid Arthritis, Komunitas Sahabat Rheumatoid Arthritis.

One of the highest autoimmune diseases in Indonesia is the autoimmune type Rheumatoid Arthritis. Rheumatoid Arthritis is an autoimmune disease characterized by inflammation resulting in swelling, pain and often eventually causing damage to the inside of the joint. Sahabat Rheumatoid Arthritis is a non-profit organization that is social and humanitarian in the health sector, especially in the autoimmune disease type Rheumatoid Arthritis. Researchers in this study used a quantitative approach with simple random sampling technique. Respondents in this study are members of the Sahabat Rheumatoid Arthritis community who suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis with a total of 84 people. The instruments in this study were self-compassion and optimism. The analysis technique used is a simple correlation test with the help of SPSS 23 for windows. The results of this study indicate a significance of 0.000 less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), so the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a significant relationship between self-compassion and optimism. Based on the value of the coefficient (r) 0.429, it can be identified that they have moderate strength, the direction of the correlation is positive so that the higher the self-compassion for autoimmune sufferers, the higher the optimism.
