Proses kerja alat mesin press briket tekanan hidrolik dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara manual yaitu tuas yang digunakan untuk menurunkan piston terhadap cetakan briket dilakukan dengan menggerakan alat bantu dari atas ke bawah secara berulang, hal ini menyebabkan dapat terjadinya risiko bahaya cidera pada tangan operator ketika bekerja salah satu risiko yang dapat terjadi yaitu work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMDs) sehingga perlu diadakan perbaikan pada tuas mesin press briket. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang ulang tuas pada alat mesin press briket dengan menggunakan kaidah ergonomi yang dibantu dengan kuesioner nordic body map serta data antropometri orang Indonesia kemudian menggunakan pendekatan Quality Function Deployment (QFD) 3 Fase. Fase pertama menjelaskan Voice of Customer (VOC) yang didapatkan dari Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan hasil terjemahan yaitu memperhatikan sistem putar yang digunakan, mengurangi kelelahan bagi pengguna, alat bantu memiliki harga lebih murah, jarak jangkauan dari alat bantu lebih diperhatikan, ukuran disesuaikan dengan memperhatikan kaidah-kaidah ergonomi, dan komponen penyusun alat menggunakan bahan yang tidak mudah rusak. Fase kedua melakukan analisa dari hasil fase pertama dengan menentukan part-part yang diperlukan berupa gambar teknik. Fase ketiga yaitu merupakan fase pembuatan prototype.

The working process of the hydraulic pressure briquette press machine in this study was carried out manually, which is used to lower the piston against the briquette concrete by moving the tool repeatedly up and down, this causes a risk of danger to the operator's hands when working. What can happen is work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMDs) so it is necessary to repair the lever of the briquette press machine. This research was conducted to redesign the lever on a briquette press machine using ergonomic rules assisted by a Nordic body map questionnaire and anthropometric data from Indonesians and then using a 3 Phase Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach. The first phase explains the Voice of Customer (VOC) obtained from the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the translation results, namely paying attention to the rotary system used, reducing user fatigue, assistive devices have lower prices, more attention to the range of assistive devices, adjusted in size to suit the needs of the user. Pay attention to ergonomics rules, and the components that make up the tool use materials that are not easily damaged. The second phase analyzes the results of the first phase by determining the required parts in the form of technical drawings. The third phase is the prototyping phase.
