Salah satu upaya untuk memudahkan peserta didik memahami materi tematik adalah dengan memasukkan konten kearifan lokal daerahnya sendiri pada pembelajaran. Namun sayangnya, saat ini, belum ada buku ajar pendamping yang memuat konten kearifan lokal. Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan produk buku ajar pendamping berbasis kearifan lokal Bangkalan yang valid, efektif, dan praktis untuk meningkatkan hasil kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan prosedur 10 penelitian dari Borg and Gall. Hasil validasi ahli dan praktisi terhadap buku ajar yang dikembangkan sebesar 91%, menunjukkan produk yang dikembangkan tergolong sangat valid dan layak digunakan. Keefektifan produk dilihat dari hasil belajar secara klasikal yaitu sebesar 100%, menunjukkan pembelajaran tuntas dan efektif. Kepraktisan produk dinilai dari rata-rata nilai angket respon siswa dan guru yaitu sebesar 93% serta observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran guru dan siswa dengan hasil sebesar 94%, masing-masing menunjukkan kriteria sangat praktis dan terlaksana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk buku ajar pendamping berbasis kearifan lokal Bangkalan yang dikembangkan sangat valid, efektif, dan praktis sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas.

Unfortunately, at this time, there is no companion textbook that contains local wisdom content. The purpose of this research and development is to produce a complementary textbook product based on Bangkalan local wisdom that is valid, effective, and practical to improve students' cognitive outcomes. This research is a development research using 10 research procedures from Borg and Gall.rnThe results of expert and practitioner validation of the developed textbooks were 91%, indicating that the products developed were very valid and feasible to use. The effectiveness of the product is seen from the classical learning outcomes that is equal to 100%, indicating complete and effective learning. The practicality of the product is assessed from the average value of the student and teacher response questionnaires which is 93% and the observation of the implementation of teacher and student learning with results of 94%, each of which shows very practical and implemented criteria.
