Universitas Trunojoyo Madura salah satu universitas yang menerapkan sistem informasi pada seluruh aktivitas kemahasiswaan, baik pada menyusun kartu rencana studi, melihat transkrip nilai hingga pelayanan teknologi informasi lainnya. Dimana seluruh aktivitas tersebut dikelola oleh pusat komunikasi atau UPT TIK Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. karena tingginya penggunaan layanan sistem informasi yang disediakan oleh UPT TIK Universitas trunojoyo Madura memicu terjadinya berbagai macam risiko seperti kerusakan akibat tegangan listrik, server down dan data corrupt juga menjadi ancaman yang dapat menghambat segala aktivitas kemahasiswaan di lingkungan kampus. Hal seperti ini dapat mengganggu keamanan informasi. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi keamanan informasi untuk mengetahui nilai setiap area keamanan dan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan dan kematangan UPT TIK Universitas Trunojoyo Madura dalam menangani keamanan informasinya. Indeks keamanan informasi KAMI 4.2 berlandaskan ISO 27001:2013 digunakan dalam penelitian ini yang berguna mengukur tingkat keamanan dan kesiapan pada UPT TIK dalam menjaga keamanan informasi. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan hasil bahwa hasil penilaian terhadap kategori Sistem Elektronik sebesar 22 yang artinya tinggi, hasil penilaian terhadap 5 area yaitu Area Tata Kelola, Pengelolaan Risiko, Kerangka Kerja, Pengelolaan Aset dan Teknologi adalah sebesar 228 dimana angka tersebut termasuk dalam kategori “Tidak Layak” dan untuk tingkat kematangan keamanan informasi UPT TIK Universitas Trunojoyo Madura berada pada tingkat II+ yang artinya baru sampai pada “Penerapan Kerangka Kerja Dasar”, maka dari itu diberikan saran dan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan proses bisnis UPT TIK Universitas Trunojoyo Madura.

Therefore the purpose of this study was to evaluate information security to determine the value of each security area and to determine the level of readiness and maturity of the information and communication technology Technical Implementation Unit of Trunojoyo Madura University in handling its information security. The KAMI information security index 4.2 based on ISO 27001:2013 is used in this study which is used to measure the level of security and readiness at the Information and Communication Technology Technical Implementation Unit, Trunojoyo University, Madura. From the results of the study it was found that the results of the assessment of the Electronic System category were 22 which means high, the results of the assessment of 5 areas, namely the Area of Governance, Risk Management, Framework, Asset Management and Technology were 228 where this figure was included in the "Not Eligible" category. ” and for the information security maturity level of the information and communication technology Technical Implementation Unit of Trunojoyo Madura University is at level II+, which means that it has only reached "Implementation of the Basic Framework", therefore suggestions and recommendations are given to improve the business processes of the information technology Technical Implementation Unit and Trunojoyo Madura University Communications.
