Skripsi merupakan salah satu syarat kelulusan bagi setiap mahasiswa yang akan meninggalkan perguruan tinggi untuk memperoleh gelar sarjana. Untuk menyelesaikan skripsi dibutuhkan optimisme, konsep diri, dan efikasi diri pada individu. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat pengaruh konsep diri dan efikasi diri terhadap optimisme mahasiswa psikologi Universitas Trunojoyo Madura dalam menyelesaikan skripsi. Pendekatan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Teknik non probability sampling-purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa psikologi Universitas Trunojoyo Madura yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi dan sudah melewati minimal 2 semester di mata kuliah seminar bidang peminatan dengan jumlah 142 responden. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah skala konsep diri, skala efikasi diri, dan skala optimisme. Metode penelitian data menggunakan uji regresi berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 25.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 000,0 (sig, 0,000 < 0,05). Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh konsep diri dan efikasi diri terhadap optimisme mahasiswa psikologi UTM dalam menyelesaikan skripsi. Semakin tinggi konsep diri dan efikasi diri yang dimiliki mahasiswa psikologi UTM maka semakin tinggi pula optimisme.

Thesis is one of graduation requirement for every student who will leave college to obtain a bachelor's degree. To complete the thesis requires optimism, self-concept, and self-efficacy in individuals. The hypothesis proposed is that there is an influence of self-concept and self-efficacy on the optimism of psychology students of Trunojoyo Madura University in completing their thesis. The approach uses a quantitative approach with non probability sampling purposive sampling techniques. The sample in this study was psychology students of Trunojoyo Madura University who were working on a thesis and had passed at least 2 semesters in the seminar course in the field of specialization with a total of 142 respondents. The instruments in this study are self-concept scale, self-efficacy scale, and optimism scale. The data research method uses multiple regression tests with the help of SPSS 25.0 for windows.rnThe results of the study obtained a significance value of 000.0 (sig, 0.000 < 0.05). Thus, the hypothesis proposed in this study was accepted, meaning that there was an influence of self-concept and self-efficacy on optimism of psychology students of Trunojoyo Madura University in completing their thesis. The higher the self-concept and self-efficacy of psychology students, the higher the optimism.
