[ Anotasi Abstrak ]
Pariwisata merupakan sektor strategis dalam memperkuat ekonomi suatu negara, dengan setiap daerah menawarkan destinasi yang unik. Kabupaten Bangkalan di Pulau Madura merupakan salah satu tempat tujuan wisata yang kaya akan budaya, objek wisata menarik, kuliner, dan warisan sejarah. Namun, keterbatasan informasi dan preferensi individual wisatawan seringkali menghambat pengalaman wisata yang optimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah sistem rekomendasi wisata menggunakan metode Item- Based Collaborative Filtering dengan User Profile Filter. Dengan memanfaatkan teknik ini, penelitian bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi objek wisata yang lebih personal dan sesuai dengan preferensi pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan user profile filter dapat diterapkan dalam sistem rekomendasi dan menghasilkan prediksi yang lebih akurat dibandingkan tanpa user profile filter. Analisis hasil pengujian tingkat kesalahan prediksi menggunakan Mean Absolute Error (MAE) menunjukkan bahwa metode ini mampu menghasilkan nilai MAE yang lebih rendah, dengan nilai rata-rata MAE 0,78319 saat menggunakan user profile filter, dan 0,81085 tanpa user profile filter. Kemudian dilakukan perbandingan data rating kuesioner dengan ulasan google maps menunjukkan bahwa sistem rekomendasi yang menggunakan data ulasan di Google Maps memberikan nilai MAE yang lebih rendah sebesar 0,17214 dibandingkan dengan data kuesioner.

Tourism is a strategic sector in strengthening a countrys economy, with each region offering unique destinations. Bangkalan Regency on Madura Island is one of the tourist destinations rich in culture, interesting attractions, culinary delights, and historical heritage. However, limited information and individual preferences of tourists often hinder optimal tourism experiences. Therefore, this study aims to develop a tourism recommendation system using the Item-Based Collaborative Filtering method with a User Profile Filter. By utilizing this technique, the research aims to provide more personalized recommendations for tourist attractions that align with user preferences. Testing results show that the addition of the user profile filter can be applied in the recommendation system and yields more accurate predictions compared to without the user profile filter. The analysis of prediction error rates using Mean Absolute Error (MAE) indicates that this method can produce a lower MAE value, with an average MAE of 0.78319 when using the user profile filter, and 0.81085 without the user profile filter. A comparison of questionnaire rating data with Google Maps reviews shows that the recommendation system using review data from Google Maps provides a lower MAE value of 0.17214 compared to the questionnaire data.
