Prasangka tersebut mempengaruhi bagaimana warga binaan membentuk citra diri mereka yang akan mempengaruhi kemampuan beradaptasi dengan lingkungan, strategi coping stres, dan jenis peran yang akan diambil dalam kehidupan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan prasangka dengan citra diri pada warga binaan Lapas IIA Pamekasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik non-probability sampling dengan tenik sampel purposive sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah warga binaan Lapas Kelas IIA Pamekasan dengan jumlah responden 247 responden. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah skala Prasangka dengan tingkat reliabilitas sebesar 0,768 dan skala Citra Diri dengan tingkat reliabilitas sebesar 0,695. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji Kendall’s Tau dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai koefisiensi korelasi sebesar -0,454 yakni sifat dari nilai koefisien korelasi dalam penelitian ini bersifat negatif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi prasangka maka semakin rendah citra diri pada warga binaan Lapas Kelas IIA Pamekasan, sebaliknya semakin rendah prasangka maka semakin tinggi citra diri pada warga binaan Lapas Kelas IIA Pamekasan. Dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000<0,05) sehingga hipotesis diterima, artinya terdapat hubungan antararnprasangka terhadap citra diri warga binaan Lapas. These prejudices influence how inmates form their self-image which will influence their ability to adapt to the environment, stress coping strategies, and the types of roles they will take in social life. This research aims to determine the relationship between prejudice and self-image among inmates at IIA Pamekasan Prison. This research uses a quantitative approach with a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling technique. The respondents in this study were residents of the Class IIA Pamekasan Prison with a total of 247 respondents. The instruments in this research are the Prejudice scale with a reliability level of 0.768 and the Self Image scale with a reliability level of 0.695. The analysis used in this research is the Kendall's Tau test with the help of the SPSS program. The results of this research show a correlation coefficient value of -0.454, namely the nature of the correlation coefficient value in this study is negative. This shows that the higher the prejudice, the lower the self-image of the inmates of the Pamekasan Class IIA Prison, conversely the lower the prejudice, the higher the self-image of the inmates of the Pamekasan Class IIA Prison. With a significance value of 0.000. This shows that the significance value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 (0.000<0.05) so that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between prejudice and the self-image of prison inmates.
