Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP pada materi ekologi dan keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif jenis penelitian quasi eksperimental design. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VII A dan kelas VII C di UPTD SMPN 2 Bangkalan dengan jumlah sampel masing-masing berjumlah 34 siswa, yang dipilih melalui teknik non probability sampling jenis purposive sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan LKPD terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP. Hasil peningkatan keterampilan proses sains masuk dalam kategori tinggi berdasarkan hasil N-gain sebesar 0,88 dan respon siswa sangat positif dengan hasil perhitungan angket sebesar 90,29%.

The study aims to determine the effect of the use of the discovery learning model on the science process skills of junior high school students on the material of ecology and biodiversity. This study uses a quantitative research method with a quasi-experimental design. The population of the study were students of class VII A and class VII C at UPTD SMPN 2 Bangkalan with a sample size of 34 students each, selected through a non-probability sampling technique of the purposive sampling type. The research design used was a non-equivalent control group design. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of the discovery learning model assisted by LKPD on improving the science process skills of junior high school students. The results of improving science process skills were in the high category based on the N-gain results of 0.88 and the student response was very positive with the results of the questionnaire calculation of 90.29%.
