Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh distorsi kognitif terhadap fear of intimacy pada wanita dewasa awal korban dating violence. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kausal. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yakni wanita dewasa awal korban dating violence, yang berdomisili di Surabaya dan saat ini sedang menjalin hubungan pacaran dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 110. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yakni menggunakan skala distorsi kognitif dengan reliabilitas 0,957 dan skala fear of intimacy dengan reliabilitas 0,949. Teknik analisis data pada hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana, hasil analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa uji T dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05) dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,458 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara distorsi kognitif dengan fear of intimacy, yang berarti bahwa semakin tinggi distorsi kognitif maka semakin tinggi juga tingkat fear of intimacy pada wanita dewasa awal korban dating violence, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Berdasarkan hasil koefisien determinasi dalam penelitian ini didapati nilai R Square 0,209 atau sebesar 20,9% yang mana merupakan suatu kontribusi distorsi kognitif terhadap fear of intimacy, sedangkan 79,1% selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

This study aims to determine the influence of cognitive distortion on the fear of intimacy among emerging adult female victims of dating violence. This study employed a quantitative research approach with a causal research design. The subjects of this study were 110 emerging adult female victims of dating violence residing in Surabaya who are currently in a dating relationship. The instruments used in this study were a cognitive distortion scale with a reliability of 0.957 and a fear of intimacy scale with a reliability of 0.949 The data analysis technique for testing the hypothesis utilized simple linear regression analysis. The results of the simple linear regression analysis indicated a T-test significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.458, which means there is a positive influence of cognitive distortion on the fear of intimacy. This indicates that higher cognitive distortion leads to a higher level of fear of intimacy among emerging adult female victims of dating violence thus, the hypothesis of this study is accepted. Based on the coefficient of determination, the R Square value was found to be 0.209, meaning that cognitive distortion contributes 20.9% to the fear of intimacy, while the remaining 79.1% is influenced by other factors.
