Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis teks pidato siswa sebelum diterapkan model pembelajaran Group Investigation berbantuan media video terhadap keterampilan menulis teks pidato siswa kelas XI SMK Al-Kahfi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental design (eksperimen semu). Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas XI SMK Al-Kahfi Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026 yang berjumlah 71 siswa, terdiri atas kelas XI-A (20 siswa) sebagai kelompok eksperimen, kelas XI-B (21 siswa) sebagai kelompok kontrol, dan kelas XI-C (30 siswa) sebagai kelompok uji coba instrumen.

This study aims to describe students' speech text writing skills prior to the treatment and analyze the effect of applying the Group Investigation learning model assisted by video media on the speech text writing skills of Grade XI students at SMK Al-Kahfi. The research methodology employed is a quantitative approach utilizing a quasi-experimental design. The research population comprised all Grade XI students of SMK Al-Kahfi for the 2025/2026 academic year, totaling 71 students. This consisted of Class XI-A (20 students) the experimental group, Class XI-B (21 students) the control group, and Class XI-C (30 students) the instrument trial group
