[ Anotasi Abstrak ]

Deskripsi Lain

A spiral path presents different movement conditions for a mobile robot compared to a straight path, the robot must maintain its speed while navigating continuous changes in direction. This necessitates a control system capable of adjusting its response to the robot's evolving state, the motor speed inevitably fluctuates during motion. This study aims to optimize the speed stability of a mobile robot on a spiral path using a Fuzzy-Proportional Integral-Derivative (PID) control method. The control system utilizes the error, the change in error (Δ error), and the orientation error (θ error) fuzzy inputs to dynamically adjust the PID parameters—Kp, Ki, and Kd—in real time. An encoder is employed to monitor motor speed, while an MPU6050 sensor is used to track the robot's orientation (tilt). The system was tested ten times on a spiral path, with observations made on the fuzzy inputs, control parameters, and the speed responses of motors M1 through M4. The results demonstrate that the Fuzzy-PID system effectively adjusts control parameters in response to the robot's changing conditions during movement. Across the ten test runs, the mean error ranged from 1.320 to 2.759 revolutions per minute (RPM), the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) ranged from 15.246 to 27.995 RPM, and the standard deviation ranged from 15.005 to 27.882 RPM. The tenth test run yielded an RMSE of 15.246 RPM, a maximum error of 126.489 RPM, and a standard deviation of 15.005 RPM, representing the most stable performance among all trials. These findings indicate that the Fuzzy-PID method can successfully adapt control responses to the robot's changing state, although some fluctuations in speed stability remain under certain test conditions.
