Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai tingkat kecanggihan teknologi yang digunakan menggunakan metode teknometrik dan memberikan usulan strategi untuk mengembangkan teknologi menggunakan metode SWOT.Metode teknometrik merupakan model yang digunakan dalam penelitian untuk mengukur kontribusi yang saling terkait dari setiap komponen teknologi. SWOT merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk menganalisis kondisi suatu organisasi dan memberikan rumusan strategi. Penilaian teknologi dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai TCC (technology contribution coefficient) dari komponen teknologi technoware (fasilitas fisik), humanware (perangkat pelaku), infoware (perangkat informasi), dan orgaware (perangkat organisasi).Dari penilaian ini juga terdapat metode AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) untuk membandingkan bobot antar komponen teknologi. Strategi SWOT dilakukan dengan menganalisis faktor internal berupa strengh (kekuatan), weakness (Kelemahan) dan faktor eksternal berupaopportunity (Peluang),threat (hambatan).Dari rancangan strategi empat kuadran pada analisis SWOT, dilakukan penyusunan strategi teknologi. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh nilai TCC sebesar 0,46 yang berdasarkan selang TCC, divisi PPIA PT. Barata Indonesia (Persero) berada pada klasifikasi yang cukup. Dan berdasarkan skala penilaian, perusahaan berada pada klasifikasi teknologi semi modern.Kemudian menyusun strategi berdasarkan analisis SWOT dan kriteria kritis komponen teknologi yang perlu diperbaiki pada perusahaan. This research aims to determine the level of sophistication technology that used by technometric method and useful proposes strategies for developing technologies using SWOT analysis. Technometric method is a model that is used in research to measure the contribution of each component interrelated technologies. SWOT is a tool used to analyze the state of an organization and provide strategy formulation. Technology assessment is done by calculatingTCCvalue (technology contribution coefficient) of technoware technology components (physical facilities), humanware (the perpetrator), infoware (device information), and orgaware (the organization). From this assessment also contained AHP method (Analytical Hierarchy Process) to compare the weight between technology components. SWOT strategies by analyzing internal factors such as strengh (strength), weakness (Weakness) and external factors such as opportunity (Opportunity), threat (barriers). From the strategy design of the four quadrants in the SWOT analysis, then arrangedthe technology strategy. This research obtained a 0.46TCC value, which based TCC hose, PPIA division of PT. Barata Indonesia (Persero) located atthe sufficient classification and based on the rating scale, the company located at the semi-modern technologyclassification. Then create a strategy based on SWOT analysis and critical criteria of technology components that need to repaired at the company.
