Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai macam pupuk organik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis (Zea mays Saccharata Strut). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Balai Penelitian Hortikultura Desa Socah Kecamatan Bangkalan Madura dengan ketinggian tempat 4,2 m dpl dengan jenis tanah Mediteran. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2012 - Februari 2013. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktor tunggal dengan perlakuan berbagai macam pupuk organik. Pupuk organik yang digunakan adalah pupuk kandang ayam, pupuk kandang sapi, pupuk kandang kambing, pupuk kandang kuda, dan pupuk kompos dengan dosis 15 ton/ha. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa pupuk kandang ayam menunjukkan nilai tertinggi pada parameter tinggi tanaman yaitu 178,53 cm, jumlah daun 8,80 helai, bobot tongkol dengan klobot 263,41 gram, dan diameter tongkol 14,61 cm. Pupuk kandang sapi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata tertinggi pada parameter panjang tongkol yaitu 18,53 cm. Pada parameter bobot tongkol tanpa klobot pupuk kandang kuda menunjukkan nilai tertinggi yaitu 195,51 gram. Sedangkan untuk kadar gula nilai rata-rata tertinggi terdapat pada pupuk kompos yaitu 13,01 % brix.

The aims of this study are to know the effect of giving some kinds of organic fertilizer to the plants growth and amount result of sweet corn (Zea mays Saccharata Strut). This study is done in Horticultural research laboratory in Socah village, Bangkalan sub-district, Madura island with the high ground 4,2 m from the sea surfaces and Mediterranean soil. This study is done on December 2012-February 2013. This research method is randomized single factor by giving kind of organic fertilizer. The organic fertilizers are from hencoop fertilizer, cowshed fertilizer, goat pen fertilizer, stable fertilizer, compost fertilizer with dose 15 ton/ha. The result of this experiment show that the hencoop fertilizer has the highest value to the plant parameter, it is 178,53 cm with the 8,80 leaves, the cob weight and klobot are klobot, and cob diameter is 14,61 cm. The cowshed fertilizer shows the rate value on the long cob parameter is 18,53 cm. On the cob parameter without klobot using stable fertilizer is 195,51 gram. Meanwhile the highest sugar rate value is include in compost that 13,01 % brix. All the kind of organic fertilizer that used in this plantation is effected to the different observation parameter, this cases is suspected because of the different nutrient element in each organic fertilizer that is used in the plantation to support every parameter growth.
