Analisis Tekstual adalah upaya mencari makna-makna implisist dan ideologis di balik teks dan transkrip tertulis yang tampak. Skripsi Bias Gender Perempuan dalam Feodalisme Budaya Jawa (Analisis Tekstual roman “Gadis Pantai” karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer) ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, memahami dan mengungkap Marjinalisasi Perempuan dalam Feodalisme Jawa dalam roman “Gadis Pantai” karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan Analisis Tekstual. Salah satu genre analisis tekstual yang secara khusus dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah Feminist Criticism, suatu pendekatan yang mengkaji bagaimana konsepsi gender dikontruksi dan diperteguh dalam masyarakat melalui pesan-pesan persuasif komunikasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa perempuan Jawa harus menurut orangtuanya untuk dinikahkan, perempuan harus tunduk patuh terhadap suaminya (pembesar), perempuan harus menyenangkan hati suami, dan perempuan harus rela berkorban untuk suami.

The purpose of this research is to investigate ang to unpack the representation of woman in furthermore, Gadis Pantai novel. The method used is textual analysis. Theoris which is used is mass media as contruction of reality, gender analisis and feminism. The conclusion is this novel represent gender bias. Firstly, woman should obey the parents. Secondly, they are also must they her husband, the last one is thet the woman should be patient the are willing to sacrifice and faithful to her husband. This study concluded that woman from the village have always been victims of cruelty or priyai ruler of java. Evident in this study, that the princes could be arbitrarily because of the power they can act arbitarity without mercy. The difference is what makes the position of woman from the the willage who was married to a priyai java, do not have control over what is being done when her husband was out of the house. For this reason, it is advisable in the public as readers read romance or other literary works have to be smart to put the position in the story, to be more familiar with what is expected by the author throught the text. Readers should also be critical in addressing the author of the story because it cloud be ideology tossed readers.
