ABSTRAK Husnul Khotimah, NIM 09.02.2.1.1.00034, “Pengaruh Tingkat Suku Bunga Deposito dan Biaya Promosi Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perbankan (Studi Pada 10 Bank Umum di Go Publik)”. Dibawah bimbingan Dr. Bambang Haryadi, S.E., M.Si., Ak dan Anis Wulandari, S.E., MSA., Ak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat suku bunga deposito dan biaya promosi terhadap kinerja keuangan perbankan yang di ukur dengan rasio CAR, BOPO, LDR dan ROA. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitaif dengan 10 sampel bank umum go publik dengan tehnik pengambilan sampel jenuh dimana semua populasi dijadikan sampel dan tehnik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan data historis yakni laporan suku bunga deposito dan biaya promosi sejak tahun 2010-2012. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji asumsi klasik (uji normalitas, uji multikolonieritas uji heteroskedastisitas) dan uji hipotesis dengan analisis regresi berganda, koefesien determinasi, uji t (parsial) dan uji F (simultan). Dari hasil pengujian di atas menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas tingkat suku bunga deposito hanya mempengaruhi indikator kinerja keuangan perbankan yang di ukur menggunakan rasio LDR (loan to deposit ratio), dan ROA (return on assets) karena nilai signifikansi dibawah 5%. Sedangkan variabel biaya promosi tidak berpengaruh terhadap seluruh indikator CAR (capital adequacy ratio), BOPO (biaya operasional dan pendapatan operasional), LDR (loan to deposit ratio) dan ROA (return on assets).

The purpose of this study was to detemine the effect of interest on deposit and promotion costs on the financial performance which had been counted trough CAR, BOPO, LDR and ROA. Quantitative research was carried out by taking 10 commercial banks go public as the samples with saturated sampling technique in which all the population sampled and the data collection techniques using historical data that report deposit interest rates and the promotion cost since 2010-2012. Data were analyzed using the classical assumption test (test for normality, heteroscedasticity test, multikolonieritas test) and hypothesis test with multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, t-tes (partial) and F test (simultaneous). From the above test results indicate that the independent variable deposit rates only gives significant effect on LDR (loan to deposit ratio) and ROA (return on assets) because the significance value below 5%. While the variable cost of promotion affect the entire banking and financial performance indicators CAR (capital adequacy ratio), BOPO (operating expenses and operating income), LDR (loan to deposit ratio), and ROA (return on assets).
