Abstrak Salah satu limbah yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal adalah limbah cair tahu, limbah tahu mempunyai nilai ekonomis yang tinggi karena dapat digunakan sebagai pupuk organik dengan kandungan N, P, K yang sangat penting untuk tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk limbah cair tahu dengan konsentrasi berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung (Zea mays, L). Penelitian dilakukan di lahan pertanian Desa Loram Kulon Kecamatan Jati Kabupaten Kudus pada ketinggian ± 8 m dpl, suhu ± 300 C dan RH ± 70 % pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan bulan November 2013. Analisis yang digunakan adalah RAK non faktorial. Perlakuan dengan cara penambahan limbah cair tahu dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda setiap perlakuannya. Terdapat lima perlakuan konsentrasi (kontrol (0), 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%), lima ulangan dan sebelas sampel tanaman, terdiri dari enam sampel destruktif dan lima sampel non destruktif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil perlakuan penambahan limbah cair tahu berbeda nyata pada variabel diameter tongkol, dan tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata pada parameter pengamatan tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, jumlah akar, umur berbunga, panjang tongkol, bobot kering biji per petak, dan bobot kering 1000 biji.Kata kunci: jagung, limbah cair tahu.

Abstract One of the waste that not fully utilized is tofu wastewater, waste of tofu has a high economic grade because it can be used as an organic fertilizer containing N, P, K which is very important for plants. This study aims to know the effect of fertilizer wastewater out with different concentrations on the growth and yield of corn (Zea mays, L). The study was conducted in the agricultural land area, Loram Kulon village, kudus’ district at an altitude of ± 8 m above sea level, the temperature of ± 300 C and RH ± 70% at August until November 2013. The analysis used is non-factorial RAK. Treatment with the addition of liquid waste out with the different concentrations of each treatment. There are five treatment concentrations (control (0), 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%), five replications and eleven samples of plants, consisting of six samples of destructive and non-destructive five samples. This study shown the result of the addition of tofu wastewater treatment significantly different variables cob diameter, and no significant effect on the observed parameters plant height, root length, root number, date of flowering, ear length, dry weight of seeds per plot, and a dry weight of 1000 seeds .
