Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Morbatoh, Kecamatan Banyuates, Kabupaten Sampang, dengan tujuan; (1) mengetahui komoditas unggulan pada sub sektor tanaman pangan di kabupaten Sampang, (2) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat produksi komoditas unggulan di Kabupaten Sampang. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Tekhnik Purposive Samping, sedangkan metode analisis menggunakan analisis Location Quetient (LQ) untuk mengetahui komoditas unggulan dan analisis Regresi Liniear Berganda untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat produksi komoditas unggulan. Pada hasil pembahasan yang pertama menunjukkan bahwa komoditas kacang tanah merupakan komoditas unggulan pada sub sektor tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Sampang yang memiliki nilai rata-rata LQ>1 dan tertinggi yaitu 4,46. Pada pembahasan kedua diperoleh fungsi produksi hasil uji regresi linear berganda yaitu (Y) = 1.808 + 0.037 X1 + 0.019 X2 + 0.104 X3 + 0.213 X4 , dari model tersebut diketahui bahwa variabel tenaga kerja, pupuk, bibit dan lama usaha memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap produksi kacang tanah. This study is conducted in Morbatoh village, Banyuates, Sampang regency with the aim of (1) to know the leading commodity of food crops sub sector at Sampang regency, (2) to understand what kind of factors that influence the production level of the leading commodity in Sampang regency. The sample making method which is used is Side Purposive Technique, whereas the analysis method is Location Quetient (LQ) analysis to know the leading commodity and Bifilar Linear Regression analysis to understand what kind of factors that influence the production level of the leading commodity. From the result of the discussion, it is shown that peanut commodity is the leading commodity in food crops sub sector at Sampang regency which has an average value of LQ>1 and the highest value that is 4,46. In the second discussion, it is found that the function of production as the result of bifilar linear regression test is (Y) = 1.808 + 0.037 X1 + 0.019 X2 + 0.104 X3 + 0.213 X4, from that model, it is found that labor variable, fertilizer, seed and the long enterprises give a positive influence to the production of peanut.
