Penjadwalan matakuliah merupakan suatu hal yang penting dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar dalam perguruan tinggi. Banyak aturan-aturan (constraint) dalam pembuatan jadwal perkuliahan yang harus terpenuhi, aturan (constraint) tersebut terdiri dari hard constraint dan soft constraint. Hard constraint adalah aturan-aturan yang harus dipenuhi dan tidak boleh dilanggar, contohnya, seorang dosen tidak boleh mengajar dua mata kuliah pada hari dan rentang waktu yang sama. Sedangkan soft constraint merupakan segala bentuk aturan yang harus boleh dilanggar namun harus diminimalisir pelanggarannya contohnya yaitu dosen maksimal mengajar matakuliah dua kali dalam satu hari. Penelitian ini menjadwalkan matakuliah menggunakan metode penjadwalan yaitu Goal Programming untuk meminimasi pelanggaran pada studi kasus Prodi Teknik Industri Universitas Trunojoyo yang masih bersifat manual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan jadwal matakuliah yang optimal berdasarkan aturan yang ada. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai fungsi tujuan dari jadwal matakuliah manual sebesar 3,29 dengan 2 pelanggaran softconstraint yang terlanggar dan jadwal dengan metode Goal Programming sebesar 0,23 dengan 1 pelanggaran pada softconstraint, sehingga jadwal dengan metode GP lebih baik dibandingkan dengan jadwal awal.

Course scheduling is an important thing in the implementation of teaching and learning activities in the college. Many of the rules (constraint) in making a schedule of lectures to be fulfilled, the rule (constraint) is comprised of hard constraints and soft constraints. Hard constraints is rules that must be fulfilled and should not be violated, for example, a lecturer should not be teaching two courses on the day and the same time. While soft constraint is any form of rules that must be violated, but must be minimized violation, for example, that the maximum lecturers teaching the course twice in one day. This research is create a schedule course using the scheduling method, it is Goal Programming method to minimize the violation on a case study of the Department Industrial engineering,Trunojoyo University that is still use manual scheduling. this research aims to determine the optimal solution of course scheduling based on the existing rules. Based on the results of research indicate the value of the objective function with manually schedule amounting 3.29 with 2 violations soft constraint was violated and schedule with Goal Programming method amounting 0.23 with 1 violations at soft constraint, so the schedule with GP method is more better than the first schedule.
