ABSTRAK Horis Pradana, Faktor Penentu Bank Runs di ASEAN. Di bawah bimbingan Bapak Rifai Afin, S.E.,MSc dan Ibu Diah Wahyuningsih, S.E.,MSi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penentu bank runs di ASEAN dalam jangka waktu penelitian 12 tahun (tahun 2000-tahun 2011) sehingga dapat menjadi tujuan intervensi oleh pemerintah maupun bank yang bersangkutan untuk mengatasi bank runs tersebut. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara dokumentasi melalui studi kepustakaan dari berbagai sumber serta teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Data Panel melalui pendekatan fixed effect, dimana variabel terikatnya yaitu Perubahan Dana Pihak Ketiga (DDPK) sedangkan variabel bebasnya dari kepercayaan nasabah terhadap bank adalah Self Fulfilling Prophecy dan dari fundamental ekonomi yaitu , suku bunga tabungn (Rate), inflasi, GDP atau PDB, jumlah uang beredar (JUB), nilai tukar (Kurs) dan dari fundamental bank yaitu ROA (Return of Asset), LDR (loan to deposit ratio), NPL (Non Performing Loan), CAR (Capital Adequasi Ratio). Kesimpulan penelitian studi ini adalah secara keseluruhan selama periode yang diamati yaitu dari tahun 2000 sampai 2011 di 10 negara ASEAN dari hasil olah data panel menunjukkan bahwa faktor penentu bank runs di ASEAN disebabkan oleh Self Fulfilling Prophecy,LDR, Inflasi, JUB dan GDP hal ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor dari kepercayaan nasabah serta fundamental bank dan fundamental ekonomi mempunyai pengaruh walau tidak semua variabel berpengaruh.

This study aims to determine the factor that influence the ASEAN bank runs within 3 years of study (2000-2011). so it can be a goal of intervention by the government and the banks concerned to overcome bank runs. This study use quantitative approach and method of data collection is conducted through documentation with literaty reseach from various resources of reseach and analyzed by using panel data regression analysis model through a fixed effect. The dependent variable is change third-party funds while independent variable from customer bank trust is Self Fulfilling Prophecy and from economic fundamentals is interest rates on savings (Rate), inflation, gross domestic product (GDP), the money supply (JUB), exchange (Kurs) and from bank fundamentals is return of asset (ROA), loan deposit ratio (LDR), non performing loan (NPL), capital adequasi ratio (CAR). This is the conclusion of research studies as a whole during the period observed is from 2000 to 2011 in 10 countries ASEAN. From the results of the panel if the data indicates that the determinants of bank runs in ASEAN due to Self Fulfilling Prophecy, inflation, LDR, the money supply (JUB) and gross domestic product (GDP) this suggests that a factor of customer bank trust as well as the fundamentals of banks and economic fundamentals have influence , though not all influential variables.
