ABSTRAK Eka Gustiawati Hasanah, 110231100005, Program Sarjana Jurusan Ekonomi Pembangunan Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Penentu BI Rate Bank Sentral Indonesia dengan pendekatan Taylor Rule Tahun 1999-2013 dibawah bimbingan Dr. Diah Wahyuningsih, S.E., M.Si dan Rifai Afin, S.E., M.Sc. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat penentuan BI rate di bank sentral Indonesia dengan menggunakan pendekatan Taylor Rule, dan gap Inflasi (GDP deflator), gap PDB (Produk Domestik Bruto), serta gap pengangguran sebagai variabel bebasnya. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Kualitatif. Untuk menjawab permasalahan yang ada dalam penelitian ini metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode Error Correction Model (ECM) dan untuk memperoleh data target variabel penulis menggunakan Hodrick-Prescott Filter (HP) dengan program Eviews 6.0. Hasil dari penelitian studi ini adalah: (1)Hasil estimasi jangka panjang menunjukkan variabel gap PDB, dan gap pengangguran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap BI rate di Indonesia, sedangkan untuk variabel gap inflasi berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap BI rate di Indonesia. (2)Hasil estimasi jangka pendek menunjukkan variabel gap inflasi, dan gap PDB berpengaruh positf dan signifikan terhadap BI rate di Indonesia, sedangkan untuk variabel gap pengangguran berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap BI rate di Indonesia. This research to see the determination of the BI rate in Indonesia central bank by using a Taylor Rule, and the gap Inflation (GDP deflator), the gap GDP (Gross Domestic Product), and the unemployment gap as independent variables. This research approach is qualitative approach. To answer the problems that exist in this study used analysis method is the method of Error Correction Model (ECM) and to obtain on the target data variable writer using the Hodrick-Prescott Filter (HP) with Eviews 6.0 program. Results of the research study are: (1) The results of the long-term estimates show variable GDP gap and unemployment gap positive and significant impact on the BI rate in Indonesia, whereas inflation for the variable gap is positive but not significant effect on the BI rate in Indonesia. (2) The results of the short-term estimates show variable inflation gap and the GDP gap positf and significant effect on the BI rate in Indonesia, while for the variable unemployment gap is positive but not significant effect on the BI rate in Indonesia.
