Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsentrasi nitrat dan phospat terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton di perairan Jumiang Desa Tanjung Kecamatan Pademawu Kabupaten Pamekasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April 2015 di perairan Jumiang Pamekasan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dan analisis data. Nilai kelimpahan fitoplankton pada tiga periode pengamatan yaitu pada stasiun 1 sebesar 69389,5-25600 ind/L, stasiun 2 sebesar 44463,2-20210,6 ind/L dan stasiun 3 sebesar 53227,8-27621 ind/L. Hubungan nitrat dan phospat terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton tergolong cukup lemah dan tidak terjadi hubungan secara nyata terhadap nitrat dan phospat dilihat dari nilai koefisien korelasi dibawah 0,5 yaitu 0,399 dan 0,427, artinya semakin tinggi nilai konsentrasi nitrat dan phospat maka semakin rendah nilai kelimpahan fitoplankton. Semakin tinggi kelimpahan fitoplankton maka semakin rendah konsentrasi nitrat dan phospat.

The objective of the research to identify the relathionship between the concentration of nitrate and phospat to abudance of phytoplankton in the Jumiang Beach, Tanjung village, Pademawu Districts, at Pamekasan. This reseach was conducted in April 2015 in the water of Jumiang Beach. The research method use descriptive method and data analysis.The Value of phytoplankton’s abundanceon third observation period is to station 1 is 69389.5 to 25,600 ind / L, station 2 is 44463.2 to 20210.6 ind / L and 3 is 53227.8 to 27,621 ind / L. Showed that more taller the abudance of phytoplankton then more lower the concentration if nitrate and phospat.
