Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang menariknya proses pembelajaran IPS yang dilaksanakan. Hal ini disebabkan guru kurang dapat memilih model pembelajaran yang tepat selama proses belajar mengajar. Oleh karena itu peneliti mencoba menerapkan model Quantum Teaching dengan teknik TANDUR (Tanamkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasikan, Ulangi, dan Rayakan) yang dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar efektif dan interaktif, menciptakan suasana yang asyik dan menyenangkan, serta memudahkan proses belajar sehingga tujuan pembelajaran yaitu dapat meningkatkan aktivitas hasil belajar siswa dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis quasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV sedangkan sampel yaitu semua yang termasuk populasi. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari pretest dan postest, lembar observasi, serta angket siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa rata-rata nilai pretest di kelompok kontrol adalah 35 dan di kelompok eksperimen adalah 48 serta rata-rata nilai postest di kelompok kontrol adalah 63 dan di kelompok eksperimen adalah 84. Sehingga hasil dari penelitian ini yang telah dianalisis menghasilkan terdapat pengaruh positif model Quantum Teaching teknik TANDUR mata pelajaran IPS terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Gili Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan thitung adalah 2,369 > t tabel adalah 2,093.

This research is motivated by the lack of interest learning process implemented social studies. This is due to lack of teachers can choose appropriate learning models during the learning process. Therefore, researchers try to apply the model of Quantum Teaching with technique TANDUR (Embed, Natural, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat, and Celebrate) which can create effective and interactive learning environment, creating an atmosphere that is fun and enjoyable, and facilitate the learning process so that the learning objectives that can increase the activity of student learning outcomes during the learning process can be achieved. This study was included in the quantitative research with this type of quasiexperimental. The population in this study were students of class IV while the sample used is all of population. The research data obtained from pretest and posttest study, observation sheets, and student questionnaires. Results of this study indicate student learning outcomes on average pretest score in the control group was 35 and in the experimental group was 48 and the average value posttest in the control group was 63 and in the experimental group was 84. So the result of this study which has analyzed produce there is positive model of Quantum Teaching techniques TANDUR social studies on learning outcomes of students of class IV SDN Gili Barat academic year 2014/2015 with t test is 2.369> t table is 2.093.
