Matematika adalah mata pelajaran yang berperan penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Akan tetapi, banyak siswa yang mendapatkan nilai rendah dan kurang tertarik dengan pelajaran tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu pendekatan pembelajaran agar siswa tertarik dan berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui perangkat pembelajaran yang menggunakan pendekatan scientific dalam mata pelajaran matematika, (2) mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan scientific terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas III, (3) mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran yang menggunakan pendekatan scientific pada kelas III. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode true experimental. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 50 siswa, sedangkan sampel penelitian ini merupakan sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes hasil belajar yang berupa pre-test dan post-test, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji-t dengan hasil t_hitung=2,416 > t_tabel=2,069, sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pendekatan scientific terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut juga dibuktikan dari peningkatan rata-rata nilai pre-test 58,4 menjadi 78,4 (rata-rata nilai post-test).

Mathematic is a subject which has an important role in human life. However, many students get low grades and less interested in the lesson. Therefore, it takes an approach of learning so that students are interested in and have an active role in learning. The purpose of this study is to: (1) find out the learning device that uses a scientific approach in the mathematics subject, (2) know how the scientific approach towards the results of 3rd class mathematic learning, (3) knowing the effectiveness of learning that uses the scientific approach in 3rd class. This research is quantitative research methods to true experimental. The population of this research are all of the 3rd class amounted to 50 students, whereas the research sample is saturated. The instruments used is a matter of learning outcomes in the form of pre-test and post-test, teachers and students observation sheet activity. Research on hypothesis testing using the t-test with the results tcount = 2,416 > ttable = 2,069, so that there was significant influence between the scientific approach towards the results of student learning. It is also evidenced from the increase in the average value of pre-test 58.4 became 78,4 (average value of post-test).
