[ Anotasi Abstrak ]
Indonesia merupakan Negara Kepulauan yang terdiri dari pulau besar dan pulau kecil. Pulau kecil mempunyai potensi pengembangan yang besar akan tetapi masih belum mendapat perhatian serius, sehingga dalam pengelolaannya belum optimal. Pulau Masalembu adalah salah satu pulau kecil yang mempunyai potensibesar untuk dikembangkan menjadi tempat wisata. Tujuan dari penellitian adalahmengidentifikasi gambaran wisata dan tiplogi wisatawan Pulau Masalembu, mengetahui nilai ekonomi Pulau Masalembu dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke Pulau Masalembu. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) di Pulau Masalembu Kabupaten Sumenep. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis nilai ekonomidan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pulau Masalembu mempunyai wisata alam terlihat dari adanya pantai dan wisata budaya dari kehidupan multietnis masyarakat masalembu. Nilai surplus konsumen sebesar Rp. 903.397,7 per individu per tahun sehingga menghasilkan nilai ekonomi wisata Pulau Masalembu sebesar Rp. 368.876.055. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke Pulau Masalembu adalah faktor biaya perjalanan, waktu tempuh, usia dan jarak tempuh.

Indonesia is an archipelago comprising the island of large and small island .Small island have the potential development great however that has yet to be addressed , so in its management optimal.Masalembu island is one of a tiny island has a great potential to developed into sites.The purpose of penellitian is identify the tourism and tiplogi tourists masalembu island, knows economic value masalembu island and he knows factors affecting the number of visitors to masalembu island. The determination of location is deliberately (purposive) on the island of masalembu Sumenep District. Data analysis used in this research was descriptive analysis, analysis economic value and regression analysis.The research results show that islands masalembu have natural tourism evident from the coast and cultural tourism of life a multiethnic the community masalembu. Value surplus consumers Rp .903.397,7 per individual per year so as to produce economic value tourism island masalembu Rp .368.876.055 .The factors that affecting the amount of tourists visit to the island masalembu is a factor the costs to transport , travel time , age and mileage .
