Pemetaan tambak garam masih belum banyak dilakukan sehingga masih sedikit informasi yang didapatkan, maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai tambak garam dalam bentuk peta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan lahan tambak garam di Kabupaten Sidoarjo dan mengetahui cakupan luas lahan produksi tambak garam di Kabupaten Sidoarjo serta mencari hubungan faktor cuaca terhadap produksi garam. Metode pelaksanaan dalam penelitian ini ada beberapa tahapan, yaitu pengukuran luas lahan tambak garam menggunakan citra Google Earth Pro sekaligus mencari penggunaan lahannya, mengolah data produksi garam, dan menganalisa hubungan faktor cuaca terhadap produksi garam dengan regresi linear berganda. Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan luasan lahan tambak garam pada Desa Banjarkemuning adalah sebesar 54,22 Ha, Desa Tambak Cemandi adalah sebesar 65,55 Ha dan untuk Desa Kalanganyar sebesar 8,82 Ha. Untuk hasil regresi diperoleh nilai R square sebesar 0,578 yang berarti memiliki pengaruh antar variabel x dan y, dengan suhu udara dan kecepatan angin sebagai variabel x

Recently, salt ponds Mapping is a study which is still rarely done, so there is still little information could be obtained. For that reason, this study is aimed to provide information of salt ponds in the form of a map. This study aims to map salt ponds in Sidoarjo, to determine land coverage pond production, and to find the correlation between weather on salt production. Methods used in this study involves several stages, first is the salt ponds area measurement using the image of Google Earth Pro as well as seeking the use of the land, data processing of the salt production, and the last is analyzing the relationship between the weather on the production of salt by multiple linear regression. From the research, it was found that salt ponds in the Banjarkemuning village about 54.22 Ha, Cemandi Village about 65.55 ha and Kalanganyar village about 8.82 ha. The regression results obtained the value of R square is 0.578 which means it has influence among variables x and y, with the air temperature and wind speed as a variable x.
