Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan gastropoda, morfometrik dan faktor lingkungan yang mempengaruhi kehidupan gastropodaNerita histrio di Pulau Poteran Kabupaten Sumenep. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak saat air surut pada 3 stasiun. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 270 individu tiap Stasiun. Pengukuran sampel menggunakan jangka sorong dan menimbang menggunakan timbangan analitik. Analisa data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. PertumbuhanNerita histrio dari Stasiun 1 sampai Stasiun 3 menunujukkan pertumbuhan yang allometrik negatif karena nilai b<3. Hasil morfometrik menunjukkan rata-rataukuran panjang dari Stasiun 1 sampai Stasiun 3 menunujukkan14,6 mm, 14,5 mm, dan 14,3mm sedangkan rata-rata ukuran lebar 11,5 mm,11,1 mm, dan 10,8 mm. Hasil parameter lingkungan menunjukkan masih layak untuk kehidupan gastropoda Nerita histrio.

This study aims to determine the growth of gastropods, morphometric and environmental factors that affect the Nerita histrio gastropod’s live at Poteran Island. The sampling is done randomly during low tide in 3 stations. A number of samples are taken as many as 270 individuals every station. The sample are measurements by using calipers and the pondered by using an analytical balance. The data are analyzed by descriptive quantitative analysis. The growth of Nerita histriofrom Station 1 to Station 3 show negative allometric because the value is b<3. The morphometric results show that the average length of Station 1 to Station 3 are 14.6 mm, 14.5 mm, and 14,3mm whereas the average of size are 11.5 mm, 11.1 mm and 10.8 mm , The results of the environmental parameters show that Nerita histrio gastropod’s live is still dencent.
