[ Anotasi Abstrak ]
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui fakor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap usahaternak sapi perah rakyat yang ada di Kabupaten Pasuruan serta efisiensi produksi usahaternak sapi perah rakyat yang ada di Kabupaten Pasuruan. Penelitian dilakukan selama empat bulan dari bulan januari-april 2016 di Desa Balunganyar, Kecamatan Lekkok, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Sampel peternak diambil secara purposive sampling sejumlah 30 responden. Fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas digunakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi susu di Desa Balunganyar. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis Efisiensi produksi. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa semua variabel independen secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap produksi susu dengan nilai R2 =0,636. Secara parsial hanya variabel pakan hijauan, konsentrat dan jumlah induk laktasi yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi susu. Nilai NPM konsentrat 1,4 > 1 belum efisien, nilai NPM jumlah induk laktasi 1,033 > 1 belum efisien dan NPM pakan hijauan 0,342 < 1 belum efisien.

The aim of this research is to know about factors production that influence to smallholder dairy farmers in Pasuruan regency and production efficiency of smallholder dairy farmers. The research conducted for about 4 month from January until april 2016. In Balunganyar village, Lekkok subdistrict, Pasuruan regency. There were thirty respondent of smallholders dairy farmers. Production fungtion of cobb-douglas used to know how many factors that influence to milk production in Balunganyar village and next analysis production efficiency. The result of this research showed that all of production factors significantly affected to milk production (R2 =0,634). Partially, its just number of lactating cows and concentrate had positive effect to milk production. NPM concentrate 1,4 > 1 have not reached efficient, NPM number of lactating cows 1,034 > 1 have not reached efficient and NPM of forage 0,432 < 1 not efficient (Key words: production of efficiency, smallholder dairy farming, factors of production)
