[ Anotasi Abstrak ]
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pertumbuhan tanaman tapak dara lokal merah (Catharanthus roseus (L.) G Don) selama empat bulan tanam (120 HST). Informasi mengenai budidaya tanaman ini masih minim, sehingga perlu dilakukan pengamatan supaya menjadi dasar dalam tahap-tahap budidaya yang tepat dan efektif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Gili, Kecamatan Kamal, Kabupaten Bangkalan. Penelitian dimulai pada Nopember 2015 hingga Maret 2016 pada musim penghujan. Parameter yang diamati laju perkecambahan, akar terpanjang, volume akar, bobot kering akar, tinggi tanaman, jumlah ruas, jumlah cabang, bobot kering batang, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot kering daun, jumlah kuncup, jumlah bunga, bobot kering bunga dan jumlah polong. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi dan dilanjutkan dengan uji linier serta uji nonlinier. Diperoleh pola pertumbuhan dimana fase vegetatif beriringan dengan fase generatif. Hubungan antar parameter yang sangat kuat terjadi pada korelasi antara tinggi tanaman dengan jumlah ruas yaitu 0,983. Kata Kunci : Catharanthus roseus (L). This study aims to determine the pattern of growth and development of the local red vinca (Catharanthus roseus (L.) G Don) in pots during the four months of planting (120 DAS). Information on the cultivation of this plant is still minimal, so it needs to be observed that the basis for the stages of cultivation are appropriate and effective. The research was conducted in Gili, Kamal, Bangkalan. Research began on November 2015 until March 2016 in the rainy season. The variable are seedlings rate, longer root, volume of roots, mass of roots, higher plant, sum of buds, sum of pods, mass of rod, sum of leaves, leave area, mass of leaves, sum of flowers, mass of flowers and sum of prongs. The analysis used regression analysis and testing that continued with linear and nonlinear test. The result showed that growth stage of vegetative phase and generative phase were same. Correlation is strong significant at the 0,01 level happened side higher plant with sum of buds, that is 0,983. Keywords: Catharanthus roseus (L). G Don, Growth and Develompent Stage, Pot
