Matematika merupakan suatu mata pelajaran yang diajarkan pada setiap jenjang pendidikan di Indonesia. Namun masih banyak siswa yang mendapatkan nilai dibawah KKM. Sehingga perlu suatu media pembelajaran yang tepat demi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan paparan tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan respon siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia animasi serta pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Wonorejo I Pasuruan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desaintrue experimental. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas V berjumlah 40 siswa, sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 36 siswa dipilih dengan prinsip sampel random sederhana. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes hasil belajar yang berupa pre-test dan post-testdan angket respon siswa. Pengujian hipotesis penelitianmenggunakan uji-t diperoleh hasil thitung = 3,18 >ttabel = 2,12, sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia animasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata uji gain ternormalisasi menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yangtergolong kategori sedang yaitu 0,51. Siswa merespon multimedia pembelajaran dengan sangat baik. Hal tersebut terbukti dengan rata-rata prosesntase angket respon siswa sebesar 94%.

Mathematics is a subject that is taught at every level of education in Indonesia. However, there are still many students that get score under the KKM. Thus, it needs an appropriate instructional media for the achievement of the learning goals. Based on the explanation above, so this study has an objective to know the improvement of learning outcomes and students’ responses after learning by using multimedia animation and the effect on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in SD Negeri Wonorejo I Pasuruan. This study is a quantitative research with true experimental design. Population of this study is the fifth grade students that amounted to 40 students, the sample of this study is 36 students that selected by simple random sampling principle. Instruments that used are the questions of learning outcomes test namely pre-test and post-test, and students’ responses questionnaire. The hypothesis test of this study uses t-test in which it is obtained that the result of tcount= 3,18>ttable= 2,12, so that there is a significant effect of the learning by using multimedia animations on students’ learning outcome. The average of normalized gain test shows that there is an improvement on students’ learning outcomes that classified as medium category that is 0,51. Students respond the multimedia learning excellently. It is proven by the average percentage of students’ responses questionnaire that is 94%.
