Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia mancakup 4 aspek yaitu, menyimak, berbicara, membaca dan menulis. Salah satu aspek menulis yang terdapat di kelas V adalah materi menulis puisi bebas. Pembelajaran menulis puisi bebas kelas V SDN Bancaran 2 masih menggunakan metode konvensional sehingga mengakibatkan siswa kesulitan memilih tema, diksi, mengembangkan judul dan menulis puisi secara runtut. Menulis puisi seharusnya menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mengasah keterampilan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode karyawisata, mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap metode karyawisata. Desain penelitian ini adalah true eksperimental desain dengan bentuk pretest-posttest control group desain. Sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Bancaran 2 yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan uji statistik. Hasil rata-rata uji gain sebesar 0.508 berkategori sedang. Hasil uji determinasi sebesar 94,672%, artinya metode karyawisata memiliki pengaruh 94,672%. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung sebesar 18,853 > ttabel sebesar 2,086, artinya metode karyawisata berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan siswa kelas V SDN Bancaran 2. Rata-rata aktivitas guru pertemuan pertama sebesar 85,93 dan pertemuan kedua sebesar 95,83 dengan kategori sangat baik. Rata-rata aktivitas siswa pertemuan pertama 72,56 dan pertemuan kedua 79,11 dengan kategori baik. Rata-rata respon positif siswa 85,909% dengan kategori sangat baik. Indonesian lesson includes 4 aspects, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing. One of writing aspect that found in class V is free poem writing material. The learning of free poem writing in class V of SDN Bancaran 2 still uses conventional method so that it makes the students difficult to choose the theme and diction, develop the title, and write the poem coherently. Writing a poem should use appropriate learning method to hone the students’ skill. This study is aimed to know the effect of field trip method, describe the activities of teacher and students, and describe the students’ responses to the field trip method. The design of this study is true experimental design in the form of pretest-posttest control group design. Samples that used are all students in class V of SDN Bancaran 2 that selected randomly. The results of this study are analyzed with statistic test. The average result of gain test is 0,5167 in medium category. The result of determination test is 94,672% which means that field trip method has an effect of 94,672%. 2 The result of t-test show that tcount is 18,853 > ttable is 2,086 which means that field trip has an effect on students’ skill in class V of SDN Bancaran 2. The average of teacher’s activities in the first meeting is 85,93 and in the second meeting is 95,83 with very good category. The average of students’ activities in the first meeting is 72,56 and in the second meeting is 79,11 with good category.
