Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan motivasi belajar siswa SDN Warungering berdasarkan pekerjaan Orang Tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Informan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Warungering. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian direduksi, dan ditriangulasikan, kemudian dianalisis oleh peneliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu motivasi belajar siswa Kelas V SDN Warungering sangat tinggi, hal tersebut tidak dipengaruhi oleh pekerjaan orang tua namun banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa adalah berasal faktor internal siswa, adapun faktor internal tersebut adalah dari motivasi intrinsik. Motivasi intrinsik siswa yang terdiri dari hasrat untuk belajar, minat serta hobi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa selanjutnya adalah faktor eksternal. Adapun faktor eksternal tersebut adalah motivasi dari guru, motivasi dari lingkungan serta motivasi dari orang tua.

This research has a purpose to describe or explain the SDN Warungering students’ motivation based on the parents’ job. This study was used descriptive qualitative research as an approach. The samples of this research were all students of class V SDN Warungering. To gather the data, the researcher was used interview, observation, and documentation. The data which have been gathered then reduced and triangulated, after that will be analyzed by the researcher. The result of this research is the SDN Warungering students’ motivation was very high. But, it is not affected by the parents’ job, many factors that have affected the students’ motivation. The factors that influence the students’ motivation arecoming from students’ internal factors, orwe can call it the internal factor is intrinsic motivation. Students’ intrinsic motivation consists of passion of learning, interests and hobbies. Another factor that influences the students’ motivation to learn is the external factors. The external factors are the teacher motivation, motivation from environments, and also parents.
