[ Anotasi Abstrak ]
Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase bukaan penyungkupan dengan pelarutan air kelapa untuk pertumbuhan sulur tanah cabe jawa, telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Mei 2013 di dalam polibag di Desa Kebun Dadap Timur, Kecamatan Saronggi, Kabupaten Sumenep. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Petak Terbagi (RPT) 2 faktor dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor-faktor tersebut yaitu pelarutan air kelapa (A) yang terdiri dari 3 tingkat dan persentase pembukaan sungkup (P) yang terdiri dari 3 tingkat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Analisis of Variance (ANOVA). Apabila berbeda nyata maka dilakukan UJD 5% (Uji Jarak Duncan). Kombinasi perlakuan antara persentase bukaan penyungkupan dengan pelarutan air kelapa berbeda nyata terhadap panjang tunas pada umur 2, 6, 8 MST, bobot basah dan bobot kering bibit siap transplanting, namun tidak berbeda nyata terhadap waktu pembentukan tunas, jumlah ruas, jumlah daun setiap bibit. Panjang tunas pada umur 4 MST hanya dipengaruhi pelarutan air kelapa, sedangkan persentase bukaan penyungkupan tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua variabel pengamatan.

This study aims to examine the use coconut water for and persentage of opening lid the spiraling growth of Piper rectrofractum Vahl. Has been carried out in March-May 2013 in the polybag to farmers in the village of East Dadap Gardens, District Saronggi, Sumenep. The method used in this study is the Split Plot Design (RPT) 2 factors with 3 replications. These factors are the concentrations of coconut water (A), which consists of 3 levels and the percentage of opening the lid (P) which consists 3 levels. The document obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). If they are real then do UJD 5% (Duncan Range Test). Combinations treatments opening the lid and coconut water concentration showed significant to long shoot at 2, 6, 8 MST, fresh weight and dry weight of plants but did not to time. Opening shoots, number in the node and number of leaves. Long shoots at 4 MST in then ced coconut water concentration, there for percentage of opening lid did not for all variable.
